This cosy Tiong Bahru hangout specialises in balanced, gluten-free cuisine and fermented ingredients, with a comprehensive list of natural wines to boot. Crafted with fresh ingredients with an Asian touch, The Butcher’s Wife’s mod-European dishes are vibrantly flavoured and aesthetically beautiful. Cicheti Restaurant
Named for the signature small plates native to Venice, Cicheti serves up regional specialities from Italy that are perfect for sharing. The antipasti and pasta dishes are delicious – we love their Seared Beef Carpaccio (S$26++) with tonnato, capers, and sunchoke chips, Bucatini (S$28++), a cheese and pepper pasta with Sarawak black pepper. Feast on the Tonnarelli Nero (S$32++) with lump crab meat and spicy crumb, and end the meal with a Tiramisu (S$16++) or an Affogato (S$13++) with salted vanilla gelato and espresso.
