Music Matters Live 2018: First Wave of Artist Lineup
Running from 7 September – 12 September 2018, Music Matters Live returns for its 13th edition at Singapore’s most vibrant nightlife playground, Clark Quay. Expect more than thirty acts from over thirteen different countries with electronic group Chores (New Zealand), blues artist Ben Catley (Australia), and rapper DANakaDAN (America) being some of those performing during the first wave. Bust a move and have a ball at this showcase of some of the most promising bands around.

Cipta Cita 2018: Celebrating the Malay Language through Music, Theatre and Poetry
Paying tribute to the fluidity of the Malay language, Cipta Cita is back with power-packed performances by artists from Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. With music entrances from the likes of Malaysian pop band, Couple, Indonesian bogor band, Life Cicla, and local musicians, concert-goers are sure to be treated to a kaleidoscope of genres unique to each artiste. For something with a bit of an emotional hook, theatre lovers can listen in on promising dramatised script readings.

RIOT Hosted by Becca D’ Bus
This drag queen is returning to the limelight with musical revues and fabulous costumes to flaunt for your amusement. Described as the “louder, braver, and brasher” version of himself, performer Eugene Tan’s alter-ego as Becca D’ Bus showcases her flamboyant exterior along with her colourful but definitely entertaining vocabulary. There will also be an official after party, Yum Yum Disco Dong, for you to bust a move or two at! Join Becca D’ Bus at Hard Rock Café Singapore for a night of comedy and curious antics, drag queen style!

Ballet Under the Stars 2018 by Singapore Dance Theatre
One of Singapore’s most anticipated event on the dance calendar, Ballet Under the Starts is back for a weekend of masterpieces from renowned the Singaporean choreographer and dance prodigy, Choo-San Goh. In celebration of the Singapore Dance Theatre’s 30th Anniversary, Ballet Under the Stars will be showcasing three of his most rousing creations – Unknown Territory, Schubert Symphony, and Fives. Kick back and marvel at the spellbinding beauty of some these performances.
