5 Things To Do In Singapore This Week: 3rd To 9th June 2019

It’s finally June, aka the hot season for good music, outdoor festivals and parties. The highly-anticipated Ultra Singapore is here, and there’s Tasmasha for the Bollywood fans. If you’re looking for something less rambunctious, there’s theatrical urban dance showcase, ‘TI:ME’, as well as wholesome all-day events in Green Day Out and Har Paw Thrilla.

Six.5 Presents ‘TI:ME’

Six.5, urban dance company of O School, is putting up a theatrical dance showcase this 8 and 9 June. Inspired by Singapore spaces, ‘TI:ME’ explores the lives of Singaporeans from different generations who share the common window of time. Watch stories unfold, with urban dances performed to the tempo of contemporary soundscapes.

Tasmasha at Bar Rouge Singapore

Prep your dancing shoes, because Bollywood Club is back with the funkiest dance party. Groove to the best of Bollywood songs by their house DJ, and indulge in all your favourite signature drinks from Bar Rouge. Plus point because it’s on the eve of Hari Raya Puasa, so relax and party your Tuesday night away.

Haw Par Thrilla

Who can resist good food and music, especially one in a weirdly wonderful venue? Ice Cream Sundays and Mugic are collaborating in one of the most grisly venue, Haw Par Villa, for an awfully thrilling event. Bizarre and colourful characters aside, join the social mural painting session by Mural Lingo, and bop to the beats of house, disco, and more. For all-day food fuel, look forward to Sidecar Sausages and gelato popsicles from Popbar SG, alongside Kona Longboard Lager and spirits.

Ultra Singapore 2019

This is one festival that needs no introduction. Ultra Singapore is back for its fifth consecutive year, with the likes of AxwellJamie JonesKnife Party, and many more headlining the event. With their top-notch curated stage, trippy lights, and exciting lineups of the best DJs and musicians, this is one outdoor party that you should check out at least once.

Green Day Out

Camp Kilo Charcoal Club and EarthFest Singapore presents their all-day wholesome affair, Green Day Out. They will be hosting sustainable market vendors from 2-7pm, from the likes of Mufflets and Ginger and Bear, to fashion brands Cuin and Bageeya Eco-clothing. There’s also plenty to learn whether its upcycling cartons (register here) to DIY Perfume for kids. The best part? 10% of the proceeds will go towards the work of Centre For A Responsible Future, a charity that advocates sustainability in Singapore.
