UltraSuperNew Presents I Know You’re Upset

‘I Know You’re Upset’ is a photographic journey in Singapore – our glowing metropolis, a posh mosh pit, and a meticulously arranged melting pot. Hosting a textual and visual interaction by poet Shivram Gopinath and photographer Panagiotis Kotsidas, the show will be presenting 18 photographs that capture Kotsidas’ personal reflections spanning his time in Singapore. All books and photographic prints showcased are available for sale.

‘I Know You’re Upset’ is happening from 17 to 24 March 2017, from 10am at UltraSuperNew. Opening night on 16 March serves free beers from 7pm-9pm. For more details, check out their event page here.

Singapore Cocktail Festival 2017

Housed in the old Beach Road police HQ, you’ll get the chance to enjoy close to 50 different cocktails across thematic Cocktail Rooms (priced at $12nett a tipple). Also sample artisanal and craft spirits from around the world at the Spirits Tasting Room, pop by the Food Street featuring Singapore’s favourite restaurants, and cast your votes for Singapore’s Next Top Cocktail! Don’t forget the 40 over participating bars scattered across the island either – such as Smoke & Mirrors, Hopscotch Bar, Bob’s Bar, to name a few.

Singapore Cocktail Festival Village 2017 is happening from 16 to 19 March 2017, from 4pm to 7pm (16-17 March) and 12pm to 10pm (18-19 March), at 99 Beach Road. Admission into the village is free. For more details, check out their event page here

Sunshine Nation Presents: Garden Beats Festival 2017

Sunshine Nation’s electronic picnic festival is back this March with a multi-sensory experience of music, food and games. Expect an eclectic line-up of international and local DJs, featuring Tube and Berger, Teenage Mutants, Autograf, Ava Asante, and many more. When the last set ends, the good vibes continue on to the Sunshine Nation Factory. Anyone who’s looking for good fun should definitely be there!

Ding Dong Weekender Brunch

Mod-Asian cuisine Ding Dong introduces an exciting weekend brunch experience this March. The five-course menu features dishes like the refreshing Miso salmon gravadlax, ikura shoyu, yuzu sorbet and Black sesame brownie and crispy tahini sponge, mandarin sorbet. Priced at $100++ per person, it also includes 90-minutes of free-flow booze, including cocktails, prosecco, and beer.

Summerdaze Block Party ft. Skratch Bastid & Shorkut

Summerdaze is a daytime, open-air block party event series bringing people from a diverse background together with it’s trademark funky feel good music that fuses homegrown and international sounds. This time, look forward to great beats by Hip Hop heavyweight, DJ Shortkut (Invisibl Skratch Piklz / Beat Junkie Sound / Triple Threat DJs) coming back to rock the decks accompanied by Canada’s hottest turntablist export, Skratch Bastid.
