Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film holds an annual series dedicated to showcasing Singapore films. Ranging from early 1990s to present day, these television gems range from original heartfelt love stories to adaptations of Singapore literary works. Films include ‘The Playground’, ‘The Man in The Cupboard’ and ‘Cupid Love’ to name a few. The best part is that the price paid for entry goes to a good cause!

Kama Launches The Singleton Whisky Dining Experience

Calling all whisky lovers! KAMA British Indian Company Kitchen & Bar is bringing a variety of whisky inspired and infused dishes that showcase the rich flavours and versatility of The Singleton across its 12, 15 and 18 year old expression. Expect to find a complex collection of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies that everyone can enjoy.

Run CLV (Cé La Vie) Featuring DJ Irwan

Born and raised in Amsterdam, Irwan has been one of the best open-format DJs in Europe for over a decade. With his unique style of scratching, singing and smoothly mixing up hiphop, R&B, house and everything in between, Irwan established himself as a crowd favourite and makes him the go-to guy for clubs and promoters when it comes to big urban events around the globe. Journey: Live in Singapore

Journey will be performing in Singapore for one night only. This show will be a real treat for long time Journey fans, who can expect forceful rock anthems such as ‘Separate ways (Worlds Apart)’, ‘Any Way You Want It’ along with arm-swaying favourites like ‘Open Arms’ and the timeless hit, ‘Don’t Stop Believin.’

Cinémathèque Selects: February

Focusing on diverse aspects of film-making, from directing to producing, script writing to cinematography and art direction, the series uncovers lesser-known local productions and features significant films in Singapore’s cinematic landscape. Each film screening is accompanied by conversations with the film-maker. A second film chosen by the film-maker reveals his or her inspiration and influences from diverse corners of the film world. The upcoming edition features two films, ‘Eating Air’ and ‘Billy Liar’.
