Fresh off the press from the 2016 G Restaurants awards, Adrift by David Myers is back to impress again, with a new bar programme to get you through the busy work week and a unique Halloween party that combines the restaurant’s signature culinary style with awesome cocktails.
The Masqued Ball
On Saturday, 29 October 2016, revel in mystery and glamour at The Masqued Ball, an indulgent Halloween night of food, free-flow drinks and plenty of dancing. Masks are essential (yes, it’s a cool masquerade!) and fog will blanket the floors to set up the sensual mood.
The elegant four-course menu, prepared by Chef David Myers himself, starts off with the succulent King Prawn and Alaskan Crab Cocktail and sweet Pumpkin Soup with Foie Gras and Confit Quail. Follow up with the Miso-glazed Pork Chop with Brussel Sprouts and Spiced Apples before relishing in a glorious signature dessert – Chocolate Fritter with Ginger Ice Cream and Persimmon.
After dinner, grab a seat at the open bar and sip (or gulp, whichever suits you best) on free-flow drinks – including wine, beer, sparkling wine, a full collection of premium spirits, and festive bespoke cocktails –, passed treats, and dance all night in true Adrift fashion. We can hardly wait!
Dinner (7pm-9pm) and drinks is priced at $238 nett, while drinks only (9pm to 2am) is priced at $121 nett. A portion of the proceeds from The Masqued Ball will be donated to Food from the Heart, a designated charity of Marina Bay Sands.
Unbeatable Midweek Bar Promos
From 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday through Thursday, Adrift invites you into its sleek abode (imagine sharp interiors with clean lines and comfy leather chairs) to enjoy eclectic music and of course, outstanding drink promotions that’s different every day:
Get social on Triple Your Pleasure Tuesdays with all cocktails going at half price. That’s including innovative reworks of classics like the Adrift Singapore Sling as well as the spirituous Harajuku – concocted with Hibiki whisky, Gran Classico, Quinquina, and chocolate bitters. Don’t miss crowd-favourite Lepak Local, a mind-blowing combination of Botanist Gin infused with chili padi and palm sugar infused with burnt lemongrass, calamansi, and pineapple juice.
On Whisky Wednesday, be spoilt for choice as you select from a gargantuan collection of over 50 premium whiskies – including many rare Japanese labels – at 50% off! Take it neat, on the rocks, old-fashioned, or sour. Whatever it is, Head Bartender Anandha Ruben will help find the perfect dram for you.
Wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts will relish Wine Thursdays and its attractive selection of 50 stellar wines, at only $50 each. Grab a group of buddies and work your way through the finest reds, whites, and rosés from Australia, New Zealand, Spain, France, and America.
All that drinking is bound to work up an appetite, which gives you a good reason to grab the delicious izakaya-style small plates that Adrift is so known for. Think freshly-shucked oysters drizzled with kaffir lime mignonette, plump and juicy duck confit gyozas, and Japanese fried chicken with miso mustard dipping sauce, as well as meats and fresh produce grilled over bincho charcoal on a traditional robata grill.
Adrift is located at Marina Bay Sands, Hotel Lobby Tower 2, Singapore 018956. Open daily 7am to 2am. Book your tickets now at http://po.st/
