A.R Rahman in Singapore

Hailed by Time magazine as ‘the world’s most prominent and prolific film composer’, music extraordinaire A.R. Rahman who won two Academy Awards for the score of ‘Slumdog Millionaire,’ will be in Singapore for a one night only ‘sound and light’ musical extravaganza titled ‘A.R. Rahman Infinite Love Live-in concert’ on Wednesday, 30th April 2014 at The Meadow, Gardens By The Bay from 7.30pm onwards.

‘I remember my experience in Singapore fondly from the last time I came down in 2011 for the Jai Ho concert and am very excited to perform my latest repertoire of songs to all my fans there,’ said A.R. Rahman.

Organised by entertainment and events company DML Live, the three-hour concert will see the multi-talented artist and his 78-piece ensemble dazzle fans with a medley of popular songs he composed from popular Hindi and Tamil films including those from the soon to be released Bollywood drama film ‘Highway’. Apart from A.R. Rahman performing these hits together with prominent singers and musicians from the Indian music scene such as Mohit Chauhan, Javed Ali, Mano, Chitra, Vijay Prakash, Neeti Mohan, Harshdeep Kaur and Shweta Pandit, fans can also look forward to a Qawwali segment with Sufi devotional music and an electronic dance music section.
