Awaken the Dragon is a community art project surrounding the last two remaining Dragon Kilns in Singapore. The project aims to invite 3,000 members of the public to participate in making a collective sculpture made from clay and fired in the Dragon Kiln. The project offers the public the unique opportunity to use and experience an important part of our heritage.
Join us for the clay workshop where you will be introduced to ceramics and the dragon kilns in Singapore. You will then get to make your own pinch pots!
Awaken the Dragon is produced by Michelle Lim and Post-Museum. It is an independent effort that is endorsed by National Arts Council and National Heritage Board.
