BASTILLE

Now/Live are thrilled to present BASTILLE, one of the UK’s biggest new acts, live in Singapore on 9 January 2015 at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa.

As the 2014 BRIT Award winners for ‘Best Breakthrough Act’, Bastille have become a global success with their chart-topping indie-pop anthem ‘Pompeii’ from their debut #1 album ‘Bad Blood’. Following hit singles ‘Flaws’, ‘Things We Lost in the Fire’ and ‘Of the Night’, Bastille have been selling out tours worldwide and will be bringing their exhilarating live show to Singapore for the first time.

Bastilleʼs infectious fourth single, the anthemic ‘Pompeii’, went on to become the UKʼs most streamed song of all time… not to mention the most successful song to tackle the niche subject of death by volcanic ash inhalation in the annals of pop. The album Bad Blood followed, smashing in at number one and quickly achieving platinum status in the UK. As the most downloaded album of 2013, and the second most-streamed, it has since sold over 2 million copies worldwide. So Bastille really should not have been surprised at last yearʼs Glastonbury Festival when they drew the largest ever recorded crowd in the history of its John Peel Stage.

Hurtling into 2014, Bastille were nominated for four BRIT Awards (British Breakthrough Act, British Group, British Album, Best Single for ‘Pompeii’), winning British Breakthrough Act. The irrepressible storm of Bastille is only just beginning…

Bastille is rocking out at Hard Rock Hotel’s Coliseum on Friday, 9th January at 8pm.
