For all its quaint refinements though, The Black Swan delivers a ravishing array of modernistic European treats, and there’s no better time to experience it in its entirety than this festive season. On Christmas Eve, they’re serving specials like the delish Scallop Ceviche with compressed cucumber, beets and truffle, as well as the Chargrilled Wagyu Rump Cap with roasted potatoes, succotash, and red wine glaze.

The Carvery

If roast meats have always played an important role in your Christmas celebrations, The Carvery is the best places to head to this Christmas Eve. Situated on the 7th floor of the newly opened Park Alexandra Hotel, this homely restaurant will be introducing festive dishes from countries such as Germany, France, Russia, and America as part of their Christmas Eve dinner this year. The highlights of this semi-buffet include the incredibly tasty Spiced Orange Roasted Duck, the succulent Lamb Leg with Herbs de Provence, and the surprisingly addictive Buttered Brussel Sprouts and Carrots.

The latest addition to the InterContinental Hotel’s family of dining establishments, Ash & Elm is a stylish all-day dining restaurant that focuses on constructing traditional European dishes with exciting twists. This 24th December, Ash & Elm will be offering an extravagant dinner that’ll leave you satisfied whether you’ve been naughty or nice. With a choice of appetisers and mains, diners can help themselves to starters like the Boston Lobster Bisque scented with Cognac, or mains such as the Rossini-style Beef Tenderloin. The dessert buffet counter will stock goodies like Brandy Fruit Cake and Warm Gingerbread Chocolate Pudding.

Caffe B

A swanky resto-bar that deftly infuses traditional Italian cuisine with Japanese subtleties, Caffe B will be offering two menus on Christmas Eve – one for the main dining area and one for the bar. The refined restaurant menu features items like Homemade Porcini Ravioli and Cod in Proscuitto and Saffron while the bar version sees hearty dishes like the Escargot a la Romana and Roasted Ribeye. For dessert, restaurant diners will enjoy a Rainbow Log Cake swirled with yuzu chantilly with blood orange jelly and a Black Forest Surprise awaits diners at the bar. Both menus are available 13-25 December 2015, if you happen to have other plans on Christmas Eve!

This year end, Morton’s will be rejigging its conventional steakhouse offerings with a lavish set dinner that’ll have diners salivating over timeless American classics along with exquisite new-age delights.
