Cantik Lah Singapore! A Dialogue Between Nature and Art is an event organized under the umbrella of ArteFact, a collective of scientists and artists who are dedicated to exploring new ways of communicating conservation science.
Is Singapore divorced from Nature? Should we be proud of being a Garden City? How can art help save Nature? Reflect upon these issues and more through panel discussions and photography workshops that marry Nature with the visual arts. From revelations about Nature Photography to learning about (and trying your hand at) polaroid emulsion lifts, there’s plenty here for those with an interest in photography. Also, don’t miss the opportunity to join dialogues with respected conservationists and biologists about the changing landscape of conservation in Singapore, the impacts of coastal development, and more.
These events take place at various locations from the 19th to the 27th of September.
