Celebrate Easter 2020 in Singapore: Egg-citing Brunches and Lunches To Indulge In this Year

Hopes of travelling during the long Easter weekend may have been dashed, but don’t let that put a damper on an intimate gathering with your loved ones. If there is anything that can boost our spirits, it’s a lavish feast featuring hearty communal classics and ambrosial sweet treats. Which is why we have rounded up six places — where social distancing measures have been put in place — offering Easter blowouts for you and your loved ones to relish on Sunday, 12 April 2020.

The White Rabbit

Not only is it aptly named, but The White Rabbit does a mean Easter Sunday brunch too. Dive right into a delightful Seafood Platter or starters such as Chicken Liver Parfait and Roasted Kabocha Pumpkin & Spinach Salad. Don’t miss their Carving & Eggs station where you can sink your teeth into succulent Roasted Australian Wagyu Ribeye with a side of organic eggs scrambled or sunny-side-up. After polishing off mains – think Roasted Japanese Sweet Potato Gnocchi and Tea-infused Roast Chicken – be sure to check out the dessert table for a slew of toothsome afters like  Espresso Choux and Bunny Butt Cheese Balls.

The deets: First seating (10am-12.30pm) is priced at S$98++ per adult, includes free-flow soft drinks and juices, and S$58++ per child (aged 5-12). Second seating (12.30pm-3pm) is priced at S$108++ per adult, includes a glass of Bluecoat gin & housemade tonic or a glass of Duval-Leroy Brut Champagne, and S$58++ per child. Marriott Cafe

Marriott Cafe never fails to put up an extravagant Easter feast and it’s no different this year, with an extensive selection of over 90 Western and Asian items. Even if you’re spoilt for choice, starting your Sunday with premium seafood on ice is never a bad one, when the likes of Boston Lobsters and Snow Crab Legs are involved. Make a pit stop at the live Duck Foie Gras station serving up a creation with cherry relish, before hitting the carvery for Moroccan-Spiced Roast Leg of Lamb and Crispy Pork Saddle with Pancetta. Leave some room for dessert spectaculars like Lemon with Summer Berries & Pistachio Choux Puffs and even an Orange Chocolate Fountain.

Racines

Partake in the time-honoured culinary tradition of Easter Sunday brunch at Racines, where Chef Jean-Charles will be preparing French delicacies like Escargot Ragouot with Creamy Parsley Butter whilst Chef Andrew Chong stirs up Chinese classics such as juicy stir-fried Wagyu Beef glazed in black pepper sauce to match. End on a sweet note at Pastry Chef Sam Leong’s dessert station by demolishing Croissant Waffles fresh off the griddle or noshing on classic Easter treats. Kids can also look forward to an exciting egg hunt led by The Easter Bunny.

Easter festivities are in full swing at Marina Bay Sands as award-winning restaurants roll out limited-time specials. For brunch, hop over to Adrift by David Myers to try their revamped brunch menu featuring 20 well-loved brunch classics and creative dishes like the New England Lobster Frittata (S$24++) and The King Crab Omelette with Garden Herbs (S$26++). If you have a sweet tooth, you will love the Broken Ricotta Pancake (S$19++) that is generously topped with creamy ricotta and whiskey-soaked walnuts. Summerlong

Greek out this Easter as Summerlong reveals a special Greek Easter menu to mark the sacred occasion. Look forward to highlights like Briam — a Greek take on ratatouille — topped generously with feta cheese and a lusciously sweet Greek Ravine cake. The outdoor live station of Roast Spit Lamb is the ultimate pièce de résistance of the feast, dishing out deliciously tender lamb bites with a variety of sides such as roasted potato, tzatziki and pita.
