Charli XCX has been making waves since the release of her 2013 debut studio album ‘True Romance’ and also as the songwriter of Icona Pop’s synth-pop anthem ‘I Love It’. Charli XCX’s rise to stardom was further propelled in 2014 following her guest spot in Iggy Azalea’s #1 hit ‘Fancy’, has been nominated for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, and also with her infectious single ‘Boom Clap’, from the soundtrack of ‘The Fault In Our Stars’. Her fiesty sophomore album ‘Sucker’ has been named as the Best Pop album of 2014 by Rolling Stone magazine, which dubbed her ‘the pop star 2014 was waiting for’.
Following her fantastic live performances at festivals like SXSW and as the sole support act for the European leg of Katy Perry’s Prismatic World tour, Charli XCX is set to blaze the stage in her first headline show in Singapore.
Charli XCX will be performing live on Wednesday, 22 April from 8pm onwards at Hard Rock Hotel’s Coliseum.
