Coz there ain’t no party like a t-shirt party!

At City Nomads, you know we are big lovers of the local arts scene and with that in mind, let us introduce you to…

THE T-SHIRT PARTY!

What on earth are we talking about? Let us clue you in. Those fantastic young upstarts at local artist collective We Jungle have rounded up some of our favourite artist and creative folk to design some rather awesome looking t-shirts. Expect cool, unique, tongue-in-cheek designs from the likes of We Jungle, BENG, Ceno2, KA’A, Kilowatt Soundsystem, Dan Wong, Ng Sze Kiat and more.

So what? You might say. Well, it doesn’t end there. Because here’s the deal:

You check out the catalogue here, pick your t-shirt and order online then come Friday 13th December you head down the T-Shirt party where you’ll pick up your fine looking t-shirt, put it on right there and then, and shake your booty like there’s no tomorrow! Plus you’ll have the chance to meet the artists behind the designs.

With live music from Haji Lane’s favourite Rupak George (listen here) and DJs pushing the local music scene spinning until late including Darker Than Wax’s Marco Wiebel who is spinning at this year’s Zouk Out the following evening (check him here).

As ever, we love We Jungle for their curation of events which shout loud and proud about the local grass roots creative scene with their mission this time to, “collect DJs and artists who were inclined to speak up for the country to throw a celebration of Singapore’s diverse and mixed creative crowd.”

With only a 21 day purchasing period for the tees, if you like what you see, you better get a wriggle on if you want to be in. And in case you’re wondering, you can still come to the party even if you didn’t buy any shirt, but you will look less cool than the others there. Just saying.

The T-Shirt Party is happening Friday 13th December from 7pm at Artistry, 17 Jalan Pinang, Singapore 199149. For more information and to get your t-shirt see here. For event updates see the Facebook event page here.
