Dancescape (Singapore) proudly presents an intense yet heartwarming dance production about the ties that bind, supported by the National Arts Council. “Dancescape V – Inheritance” will be held on 12 & 13 December 2015 at Chambers, The Arts House, bringing one of our prominent historical places back to life with real life setting and scenarios.
The upcoming production centers on a family dispute over the father’s inheritance, seeking a fairer distribution amongst siblings. It was a happy family, or as it seems, until one day, when the father met with an accident. The brothers and sisters became concerned over the father’s wealth – who will succeed to his legacy? Amidst all these battles, the adopted son was caught in a dilemma – he does not want the father’s legacy, but he did not want to give it up and give his brothers and sisters even more to fight for. The grandchildren couldn’t understand what their daddies and mummies were fighting for and they felt really upset. Would the brothers and sisters stop fighting? What would the grandchildren do?
Dancescape V – Inheritance is happening on 12 and 13 December 2015 at Chamber, The Arts House. Show timings are 12 December – 3pm & 7pm, 13 December – 1pm. Tickets are priced at $25 and $20. For more enquiries, please call 6336 0490.
