A Dining Guide to Suntec City Singapore: Eat At These Restaurants & Cafes The Mall Has To Offer

From Chinatown to Tampines, city center to the suburbs, there’s no lack of good food in Singapore. If you ever find yourself in the mammoth of a mall that is Suntec City and wondering what to eat, here’s our dining guide to the veritable labyrinth.

Chura Sushi Bar

Translating to ‘beautiful’ in Okinawan, Chura Sushi Bar is in the business of gorgeous presentations (and of course, quality seafood). The eye-catching  Chura Nigiri Set (S$35.80) comes with 10 kinds of tastefully adorned sushi while the Miyazaki Wagyu with Uni and Caviar (S$18.80) sushi sees sea urchin and caviar sit atop a slice of seared Miyazaki Wagyu beef. Look forward to Okinawan ingredients on the menu too, such as the island’s native citrus shiquasa, featured in the gin-based Chura Sour (S$15) cocktail. OSG Bar & Kitchen

If you’re hankering for some elevated local food, then OSG Bar & Kitchen is your dining destination. Their OSG Signature Nasi Lemak (S$17.90) with blue pea-infused coconut basmati rice, fried chicken wings, beef rendang, and sambal belacan crawfish, is well-loved for good reason. Other highlights include the Mini Lobster Nasi Goreng Sambal (S$16.90) and the Wagyu Beef Rice Burger (S$17.90) that features coconut rice as burger buns.

Ramen Nagi

Once a hole-in-the-wall establishment in Fukuoka, Ramen Nagi has expanded beyond Japan with over 40 outlets worldwide. If you love a good traditional award-winning pork bone broth, the Original Butao King (S$13.90) is for you, complete with fresh handmade noodles and Nagi pork chashu. Up for taking your taste buds on an adventure? While the Black King (S$15.90) boasts an aromatic garlic-squid ink combination, the Red King (S$15.90) gets fiery with its blend of garlic, chilli oil, and cayenne pepper.

iSTEAKS

On the hunt for an affordable steak? iSTEAKS is the answer at Suntec City, with a menu that predominantly features cuts of beef and lamb from Australia and New Zealand. Prices start from S$23 for a 200g Chargrilled Ribeye from New Zealand with two sides and ranges all the way to S$168 for a 1.5kg Angus Prime Rib perfect for sharing with your fellow carnivores. For something less meaty, they also have Norwegian salmon and US pork loin.

Little Lamb Hotpot & BBQ

Ranked among the top 50 hot pots in China and has more than 300 chain stores in major cities across the country, the Little Lamb Hotpot & BBQ is Singapore’s first upscale Mongolian hot pot and barbecue. The famous hotpot chain promises robust flavours and fresh ingredients, including roasted lamb skewers, pork belly, seafood, and beef tripe

Wonderful Bapsang

Hidden behind a Korean minimart and a small counter selling Korean street food, Wonderful Bapsang serves up authentic Korean flavours in their signature bunsik style dishes alongside a free flow of assorted banchan. Get a tastes of Korea with their Bibimbap (S$14.80), or Gimbap (S$9) stuffed with your choice of fillings. Another item to look out for is their menu item is the Wang Pan (from $9), a hot plate of chicken, beef or pork galbi with seaweed rice balls, corn with cheese, and soup.

COCA

Hailing from Bangkok, COCA marries authentic Thai cuisine with elements of Cantonese home-style cooking to create the iconic flavours now associated with their name. Since opening its doors in 1987, COCA has remained one of the most well-knonw hotpot restaurants in Singapore for being a unique blend of Thai-Chinese. From Fish Glue and Shrimp Paste, to Handmade Dumplings, there’s an endless array of fresh vegetables, meat, and seafood you can dunk into piping hot and fragrant broths.

White Restaurant

Obsessed with white bee hoon? The dish has been popping up in restaurant menus everywhere, but none have perfected the dish as well as White Restaurant. Serving up classic zi char offerings along with the Original White Beehoon (from S$7), the White Restaruant is a no brainer if for those looking for zi char-style comfort food at Suntec City.

Yenly Yours

The Thais take their mango seriously, so you know mango cafe Yenly Yours is exceptional when there are nearly 20 outlets in Bangkok alone. Suntec City is now home to the first overseas Yenly Yours outlet and like the mothership back in Thailand, diners can look forward to many mango-based desserts. Your Mango Super Sticky Rice (S$10.90) is a timeless classic with traditional mango sticky rice served with a side of mango pudding and ice cream. For something more unique, try their Mango and Mango with Mango Jelly (from S$7.90).

Fluff Stack

For more indulgent desserts, head to Halal-certified Fluff Stack for jiggly, airy, fluffy souffle pancakes that can brighten anyone’s day. With their Classic Souffle Pancakes starting at just S$8.80, Fluff Stack is one of the more affordable souffle pancake establishments in Singapore. Crowd favourites include the Strawberry Cheese Souffle Pancakes ($12.80), stacked tall with strawberry coulis mixed with fresh strawberries and a topping of whipped cream cheese, and the Hazelnut Chocolate Souffle Pancakes ($13.80) featuring hazelnut chocolate sauce textured with speckles of golden feuilletine flakes.
