Born in Montpellier in Southern France, Emilie Simon is known for her bold, experimental blend of electronic and pop music, tied together with arresting vocals that draw comparison to musical legends such as Kate Bush and Björk. Throughout her musical career, Emilie Simon has won 3 awards at the prestigious Victoires de la Musique (the French equivalent of the Grammy Awards), including Electronic/Groove/Dance album of the year in 2004 and 2007, and also Original Film or Television Soundtrack of the Year for her work on the soundtrack of the documentary ‘La marche de l’empereur’ (March of the Penguins). As part of her Asian tour in 2015, this will be Emilie Simon’s first ever concert in Singapore, where she is set to captivate the audience with her signature sounds.
