Did you know your Grab app lets you do more than just book rides? Gone are the days of having tons of unused apps on your smartphone, as the super app launches its new #GrabLife campaign in a bid to fill all the gaps in your daily lives. For a start, Grab will start offering unique online-to-offline experiences through curated events, limited edition products, services, and one-of-a-kind activities. As it turns out, many of these have to do with food, but we are a foodie nation, after all.
Here’s a look at some of the new experiences from Grab!
Grab Life By The Bobas
That’s why you clicked into this article, isn’t it? Are you one of those boba aficionados whose blood basically comprises of bubble tea? As more international brands enter the fray in Singapore, Grab has launched a fun new bubble tea subscription plan that quenches your thirst for tea while saving you more! For $9, you’ll get five S$3 discount vouchers that can be used at Gong Cha, LiHO, Woobee, and iTea. If you’re a new GrabPay user, you can get an even bigger discount of five S$3 vouchers for S$5 (while stocks last), saving you a whole red note. If that isn’t a reason to drink more bubble tea, we don’t know what is.
Join the Gourmet Tribe
If you’re a huge foodie, the new Gourmet Tribe initiative in partnership with Sphere Events might be even more attractive for you. Unlike many of the other dining deal platforms out there, this new feature lets you book things like a private Peranakan dinner with Nonya Bong or a Yoga Sundowner superfood spread at Andaz Singapore. What’s unique is that many of these experiences are more holistic than a simple meal: participate in interactive food workshops, such as creating latte art with Baristart Coffee or a mobile phone food photography course. Plus, they make for great date and group gathering ideas too.
Want to dine anywhere you wish for as much as you please? The Gourmet Tribe Dealbook gives you a whopping 100 1-for-1 deals with a validity of six months at restaurants like L’Entrecôte, Sabio By The Sea, Matsuya Dining, and Sarnies at a special promotional price of $14.90, more than half its original price. You can subscribe to the Dealbook through your Grab app under ‘My Rewards’.
Support Local Hawkers From Your Own Home
Pastas and bowls of tom yum soup are great and all, but some days call for a local food fix. Seeing as hawker culture is deeply ingrained in our daily lives, Grab has expanded its range of Hawker Picks on GrabFood, which lets you skip the crazy queues (especially for those Michelin-starred meals) at stalls all over the city. At the moment, top hawkers include Arcade Fish Soup in the Central Business District and A Noodle Story at Amoy Street Food Centre.
