Eating and drinking, wining and dining – it’s in our nature as Lion City dwellers. We also love exploring new things, so happily, there’s a multitude of amazing food festivals hitting our shores this 2016. From fine dining and cocktails to beer and local cuisine, here are 13 awesome foodie events in Singapore to look out for.
Savour
A dining playground for all food enthusiasts, Savour can lay claim to being one of the most complete and diversified food fairs in Singapore. Celebrity chefs, wine tastings, food samplings, expert masterclasses and a gourmet market are just some of the reasons why thousands of hardcore foodies flock to their festival grounds on a yearly basis, and visitors can expect more of the same when Savour returns for its 2016 edition.

Singapore Coffee Festival
Singapore Coffee Festival is happening from Thursday, 9 June to Sunday, 12 June 2016 at the F1 Pit Building.
Singapore Cocktail Week
Singapore Cocktail Week is happening from Saturday, 12 March to Saturday, 19 March 2016 at various locations.
Beerfest Asia 2016
Beerfest Asia 2016 is happening from Thursday, 16 June to Sunday, 19 June at Marina Promenade.

Singapore Food Festival
Despite an influx of foreign restaurants and chefs in Singapore, the Singapore Food Festival is the beacon of local cuisine, highlighting the best of hawker food year after year. Last year saw a reconstruction of the defunct Ellenborough Market, while heritage dishes got contemporary makeovers from local celebrity chef Justin Quek. Details are pretty hush-hush at the moment, but if there’s anything we’re certain of, it’s that there’ll be no shortage of delicious Singaporean food at this mega foodie fair.

CRAFT Singapore 2016
Every beer geek’s dream come true, CRAFT Singapore 2016 will be making its debut as Singapore’s first ever craft beer festival later this year. Held alongside iLight Marina Bay 2016, the boozy carnival will feature a total of 25 drink booths, with imported beers coming from the likes of Eastern Craft Trading, TSA Wines and MSBEV. Those feeling peckish can also help themselves to a medley of comfort food from vendors.
CRAFT Singapore 2016 is happening from Friday, 4 March to Sunday, 6 March 2016 at the Marina Bay Waterfront.
Epicurean Market
Marina Bay Sands’ premier food event has been nothing short of amazing since its inception in 2013. Masterclasses conducted by some of the best chefs in the world, food sampling booths from celebrated restaurants, and a magical gourmet market are just some of the many reasons why we love one of Singapore’s most famous gastronomic extravaganzas. We can’t wait to see what 2016’s version will have in store for us.

Wine Fiesta
Bubbly, rosé, red, or white – there’s no denying that Wine Fiesta is the best festival to celebrate the intricacies of good wine, whatever your poison. Brought to you by The Straits Wine Company, this multi-day event consists of masterclasses conducted by international wine experts, face-to-face sessions with specialist wine makers, and the tasting of over 300 unique wine labels from across the globe.

Oishii Japan
The ultimate Japanese culinary exhibition in Southeast Asia, Oishii Japan will once again be parading fantabulous goodies from the land of the rising sun in 2016. Visitors can look forward to checking out authentic Japanese ingredients and food at this massive foodie spectacular, as well as participate in classes that’ll showcase the finest culinary techniques and equipment from Japan.
