Lo Hei
Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant
Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant is back with its beloved Prosperity Silver Bait and Homemade Bakkwa with Fresh Greens. This vibrant yu sheng features deep-fried silver bait and melt-in-the-mouth bak kwa, atop a lush forest of rocket leaves.

Crystal Jade
Toss to golden times ahead with Crystal Jade’s lo hei show-stopper. The Prosperity Golden Lobster Yusheng (S$98 for small, S$168 for large) is a colourful garden of wholesome ingredients like fresh lily bulbs, marinated plum tomatoes, juicy pomelo segments, and kaffir lime leaves, along with traditional health foods such as red dates and walnuts. It comes crowned with a luscious array of local lobster and ikura (salmon roe), drizzled over with flower blossom syrup.
For a more classic option, indulge in the Reunion Smoked Salmon Yusheng (S$48.80 for small, S$72.80 for large) or Reunion Baby Abalone Yusheng (S$54.80 for small, S$82.80 for large), both generously lashed with homemade apple sauce.

Hai Tien Lo, Pan Pacific Singapore
With six indulgent yu sheng platters to choose from, Hai Tien Lo takes CNY abundance to new heights. The Nutritious Blossoming Treasures Yu Sheng (S$138 for small, S$198 for large) comes dressed to impress, glittering with gold and silver flakes and studded with Hokkaido scallops. It’s as healthy as it is wealthy too, thanks to an eye-catching mix of fruits and veggies spiced up with sweet-and-sour Thai sauce.
As for the seafood lovers, dive into a sea of prosperity with the Fortune Yu Sheng with Lobster, Surf Clams, Crispy Whitebait and Jelly Fish (S$128 for small, S$188 for large). Small portions serve four to six, while large portions serve seven to ten people.

Pen cai was born when Song Dynasty peasants sought to feed their fleeing emperor and his army, so the story goes – and Man Fu Yuan‘s Abundance Treasure Pot (S$388) certainly looks fit for a king. This impressive dish is stacked deep with over 18 luxe delights, including 10-head abalone, Canadian lobster, juicy Hokkaido scallops, and exquisite Yunnan black tiger palm mushrooms.
The Prosperity Yu Sheng (S$138) is another centrepiece that’ll grace your dining table in style. Think goodies like Hokkaido scallops, salmon, and crisp fish skin, all crafted to form the Chinese character “Yuan” (苑) – a lovely symbol for a garden of plenty.

Brimming over with 18 delicacies, Yan‘s behemoth Yan Harvest Pen Cai (S$280 for 5 diners, S$560 for 10 diners) is sure to get jaws dropping and mouths watering. Dig into the treasure pot for prized ingredients like abalone, whole conpoy, roast pork, and fish maw, all swimming in a robust braised duck gravy. Looking for meaty complements to this magnificent centrepiece? Roasted to golden-brown perfection, the Signature Crispy Roast Suckling Pig (S$300) and Dang Gui Roast Duck (S$80) taste as splendid as they look.

Sending noods to your fam is completely appropriate, when those noods are from Carlton City Hotel Singapore. Their Longevity Noodles with Abalone, Fish Maw & Golden Broth (S$98) is lush with premium seafood and slurp-worthy strands of Shanghai noodles. All these sit pretty in a rich pork broth, finished with a sweet touch of pumpkin purée. Another new highlight this year is the Stewed Pork Spare Ribs and Knuckle Fortune Pot (S$68). Bountiful with pork slices simmered in savoury chicken stock, this tantalising dish is set to draw all eyes (and chopsticks) at the dinner table.

Peach Garden
No reunion dinner is complete without some fabulously fragrant sticky rice, and Peach Garden’s rendition will please even your pickiest relatives. The Traditional Boiled Jasmine Rice with Chinese Sausage in Claypot (S$98++) is packed with smoky slices of cured sausage, elegantly arrayed in a floral-like form.
Once you’re done snapping photos of this gem, move right on to the festive roasts. For a dash of contemporary flavours, there’s the Roasted London Duck (S$108++), enticingly drizzled with black truffle sauce.
