Happy-Happy Headbanger’s Ball Vol:1, is a celebration of hard & heavy music in general. If you noticed, it’s still Volume 1, so, there could be more lined up. The bands here don’t scowl the faces all of the time. They, well, let’s just say that they’re the ‘Pharell Williams of Heavy Metal’.
This is the first time, Indonesian Band SURI will be performing here. They are quite popular among the Rock/ Heavy / Groove genre. Malaysian bands such as Wynken Delirium & W.I.D.B (What Is De Because – a Malaysian ‘slang’ similar to ours – Why You So Like Dat?’) are coming back here again to play to their fans. Our local boys and a girl, who possesses such hard hitting melodic thrashing tunes, aptly from bands like SINTOXICATE, WITCH SEEKER & SPINE TREE will definitely lit up the stage with their fiery aura.
Last but not least, GLOBAL CHAOS, one of the first wave of Underground bands will be releasing their 2nd album in 15 years!!! So.. if you buy the ticket to watch the show, you’ll get to be one of the first few people to buy their CD Album fresh from oven, wonderfully titled ‘Louder Than Satan’s Lollypop!’ Isn’t it nice?!
