House of Riot Presents A Triple Bill: Charlie Lim, iNCH, The Great Spy Experiment

Home to Singapore’s well-loved independent acts – Charlie Lim, iNCH, and The Great Spy Experiment – House of Riot presents a never-done-before, triple-bill madness of an evening, in homage to made-in-Singapore music. Featuring a line-up of stellar new content from all 3 of Riot’s acts, the show will be movingly unforgettable.

Following two sell-out shows at Mosaic Music Festival 2014, Charlie Lim returns to the Esplanade stage with his lush vocals and soulful nuances. Since his critically-acclaimed debut in 2011, he has performed on renowned regional stages including Clockenflap Festival (Hong Kong), Jarasum International Jazz Festival (South Korea), The Gathering, Singapore International Jazz Festival (Singapore), and Urbanscapes (Malaysia). This June, Charlie will launch Time/Space, a bold double EP that manifests the polarities defining his sound. The full, multi-media Time/Space experience will be unveiled at the House of Riot show.

2014 was a momentous year for iNCH, who completed a cross-country tour across the US, and published her first book, Between The Devil & the Deep Blue Sea. Between hosting the Off the Record segment on Lush 99.5FM and spearheading the SCAPE Invasion Tour, 2015 will also see iNCH release a new collection of songs as part of her participation in the Pulau Ubin Artists-in-Residency Programme.

From playing to a 9,000 strong crowd at Singapore Day in London to rocking the main stage at BayBeats, as one of Singapore’s most-loved indie rock bands – The Great Spy Experiment – is no stranger to commanding the stage. In their first ticketed performance since 2009, GSE will take fans on a deeply emotive journey through the past 3 years following the launch of sophomore album Litmus, with premiere of new material.

A Triple Bill is taking place on Saturday, 6 June from 7.30pm onwards at the Esplanade Concert Hall
