Jamie Lawson Live In Singapore

LAMC Productions has announced British singer-songwriter Jamie Lawson, the same man who was the very first Artist signed by Ed Sheeran’s Gingerbread Man Record Label, before going on to score a #1 smash hit on the UK charts with his very first release “Wasn’t Expecting That”.

Born and raised in St Budeaux, Plymouth, England, the acoustic artist made quite an impression within Ireland when his hit song “Wasn’t Expecting That” became an overnight YouTube sensation and had peaked number 3 on the Irish Singles Chart.

“Wasn’t Expecting That” has already proven a worldwide favorite, with top 3 success in Ireland and Australia as well as top 10 chart popularity in New Zealand. In addition, the single has since been certified double-platinum by Australia’s ARIA and gold by New Zealand’s Recorded Music NZ following Lawson’s recent run as support act on those countries’ legs of Sheeran’s epic “x” worldwide tour.  Immediately following a televised performance on the national morning show “BBC Breakfast,” both “Wasn’t Expecting That” and “JAMIE LAWSON” rocketed to #1 on the iTunes “Top Songs” and “Top Albums” charts in the UK.

Jamie Lawson has since performed in several countries worldwide, touring alongside popular boy band One Direction and a long list of like-minded artists, including Damien Rice, Ben Howard, Ellie Golding, Ed Sheeran, Lucy Rose, and Van Morrison.

Jamie Lawson is performing in Singapore on Wednesday, 27 April 2016 at the University Cultural Centre Theatre at NUS. Tickets are priced at $138, $128, $118, and $108 and are available via SISTIC. For more details, check out the event page here.
