Jasmine Chen and the Jeremy Monteiro Shanghai Jazz Project

“The lovely and talented Shanghai-based songstress Jasmine Chen teams up again with one of Asia’s top jazz pianists Jeremy Monteiro and his band to present the Shanghai Jazz Project. Shanghai was the cradle of jazz in Asia in the late 1920s and 1930s when jazz was the pop music of the day all over the world.

Together with the band consisting of special guest bassist and Shanghai jazz impresario Lao Ren, saxophonist Julian Chan, and drummer Tamagoh, Jasmine Chen and the Jeremy Monteiro Shanghai Jazz Project will transport you back to the effervescent and swinging era of old Shanghai with their swinging tunes and beautiful love songs in Mandarin and English.”

This concert is being held from Thursday, 26 March to Friday, 27 March at 8pm at The Arts House (Chamber).
