Gaining popularity through its breakthrough recipe, the restaurant has seen significant expansion to Hong Kong and London, where it has remained one of the country’s best ramen shops to date. Rich in enzymes and commonly used in many Japanese dishes, Keisuke’s new restaurant uses shio koji to tenderise and enhance the flavours of the cutlets, resulting in a lighter and crispier tonkatsu. Seafood and chicken options are also available.

New Bars in Singapore

Barbary Coast

Helmed by industry veterans, Barbary Coast transports you back to mid-1880s San Francisco with its dual-concept space, breathing new life into Boat Quay. On first floor sits Deadfall, a watering hole that draws inspiration from the dive bars of the original Barbary Coast in San Francisco, while The Ballroom on the upper floor takes its cues from the jazz clubs and dance halls of the era. Look out for its quaint facade along North Canal road if you’re looking for a place for after work drinks.

Barbary Coast is located at 16 North Canal Rd, Singapore 048828. More details coming soon.

Roxy

Hot on the heels of Miss Fitz’s opening is Roxy, located just behind the restaurant. While the main space is a great space on its own, serving up Mediterranean food and refreshing cocktails along with its stellar wine list, the back bar Roxy is a much more intimate area for private events, guest-shifts, or just to get away from the bustling metropolis for a while.

Roxy is located at #01-17 The Sail @ Marina Bay, 6 Marina Blvd, Singapore 0189985, p. +65 8129 4617. Open Mon-Fri 5pm – 12am. Closed weekends.
