In a follow up to the hugely successful first instalment of Cooking Beats earlier this year, Kilo is ready to do it all over again, bringing music and food together to ring in the festive season and, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, to celebrate another incredible year at Kilo.
Titled Dancegiving, the menu for the night is helmed by Kilo’s executive chef Manel Valero, putting Kilo’s distinct Asian-fusion spin on traditional, homely classics.Dishes from the 10-course menu include Warm Grilled Flatbread with Roasted Garlic & Chilli Mojo; Thai-style Roasted Turkey; Roasted Duck & Nam Yam Pomelo Salad, Pig Head Terrine; and Pumpkin and Thai Tea Pie.
Adding the finishing touch to this communal dining experience are decorations created by florist Charlotte Puxley. As per usual at Kilo, the night never stops after dinner — the party continues upstairs at Kilo Lounge, as DJs Shellsuit and Dave Code work the decks with their fun and funky sounds to cap off an evening well spent in good company.
Kilo Presents: Cooking Beats — Dancegiving is happening on Thursday, 26 November 2015 at Kilo Kallang from 6pm onwards. Dinner is priced at $70. For reservations, email reservations@kilokitchen.com.
