Asia’s gateway summit to the business of entertainment, All That Matters, is bringing together 70 of the hottest emerging music acts from all around the world for one of the most dynamic music festivals in Asia – Music Matters Live.
Kicking off for its 5th year in Clarke Quay and at Timbre venues on 20 May 2015, four massive nights of Music Matters Live will bring together hot new talent, hit makers from the industry and thousands of music fans to present the acts that will shape the region and the world’s musical future.
From the electro-soul of Australia’s Angus Dawson, to the speaker-crunching Cloud Maze from Russia, to the street-inspired Hip Hop of Vietnam’s Wowy, diverse musical tastes are catered to and fans have the chance to discover new and exciting sounds. While the central Fountain Stage will be the main attraction for non stop international entertainment over the four nights of the festival, bars across and around Clarke Quay are gearing up to host performances that will satisfy followers of indie, pop, rock, EDM, hip hop, soul, roots, and much, much more!
The live element of 10 year old Music Matters, Music Matters Live will again be hosting the highly anticipated country specific showcases including Korea (K Pop Night Out), Taiwan (Bravo Taiwan), Australia (Aussie BBQ), and of course Singapore (Made In Singapore)! For the first time in 2015, France (Music France) will be joining the country showcases with a night packed full of stunning new acts.
Jasper Donat, Co-Founder and CEO of festival organisers Branded Ltd commented, ‘There’s so much opportunity for bands to build fanbases online, but there is still no substitute for experiencing the music you love live. Music Matters Live gives fans the chance to discover the world’s hottest new talents live whilst giving those performers a chance to show their style to some of the industry’s leading figures.’
This year’s attending artists and managers can network with, and get advice from, Music Matters industry leaders including President of AEG Live Asia Adam Wilkes, megastar manager Steve Jensen (Katy Perry), MixRadio CEO Jyrki Rosenberg, and Live Nation China MD Robb Spitzer to name a few.
Emerging musicians can also jam with like minded talent from around the region and the world, build their fan base with the thousands of music lovers discovering new sounds throughout the festival and invited artists can be mentored by the best in the Music Matters Live Academy.
The event will take place from 20 – 24 May at Clarke Quay and Timbre from 7pm onwards.
