National Geographic Live – Coral, Fire, & Ice Explore Secret Underwater Worlds with David Doubilet

Nat Geo Live comes to Singapore for the first time this August with epic tales from beneath the surface of the most remote corners of the planet.

Join legendary National Geographic underwater photographer David Doubilet as he goes on assignment to explore the secret undersea of the tropics and the icy polar realms. Venture into the rich coral triangle of Papua New Guinea’s Kimbe Bay, the Philippines and Indonesia – centre of the world in terms of marine biodiversity. Discover an unspoiled wilderness of waters crowded with layers of life: fingernail-sized pygmy seahorses to 60-foot tall towers of barracudas. Then, journey south to the cold ice waters of Antarctica to hear real life adventures of survival, leopard seals, and shipwrecks, joining Doubilet in his newest work on the sculptural beauty of icebergs.

Coral, Fire, & Ice sees Doubilet sharing some of his most unforgettable experiences while photographing on assignment for National Geographic. Sharing his personal challenge to create a visual voice for the world’s oceans, his powerful and emotional stories will inspire and connect audiences to the incredible beauty and the silent transformations happening within the invisible world below.

Appealing to all of those inspired by travel, exploration, discovery – and who value the National Geographic Society’s mission to inspire people to care about the planet – Nat Geo Live is for adventurers, thinkers, nature lovers, and explorers of all ages.
