Pan Pacific’s new Champagne Sunday Brunch at Edge: Ohmi Wagyu, Boston Lobster & much more

After going through a massive re-vamp this year including a redesign and the introduction of a new Executive Chef, the Edge restaurant at the Pan Pacific is about to unveil its new 4-hour free-flow Champagne brunch of epic proportions this coming Sunday 16th February.

Aptly named for providing a veritable culinary journey around Singapore, the region, and the Pacific Rim, the Sunday brunch menu will leave you with your jaw-dropped to the floor. We’re talking Chinese, Malay, Indian, Thai, Japanese and an awesome assortment of European and Western dishes from the grill and seafood, to an excellent dessert and cheese selection.

So what are the highlights to get your mouth watering?

To start with – seafood seafood! seafood! Aside from a superb range, you’ll be treated to the likes of fresh Boston Lobster and a range Canadian and French Oysters to slurp down with your Veuve Clicquot Champagne.

Moving from surf to turf, the legendarily tasty Omi Wagyu beef will be served up at the live grill station. If you’ve never had Ohmi beef, this is something you have to try! Often referred to as the ‘King of Wagyu’, this is premium, high-grade marbling Japanese beef at its best.

Over to the carving station, there’ll be some delicious prime rib, whole suckling pig and much more. Love eggs with your brunch? How about Edge’s signature poached eggs with truffle coulis? And for you pasta fiends out there, there’s an entire station devoted to freshly-made pasta a-la-minute. In other words, fresh pasta like duck confit ravioli prepared and cooked right in front of your very eyes.

Of course this is just tip of the iceberg. With a phenomenal selection of Western, Thai, Indian and other South East Asian dishes on offer, you may want to skip dinner the night before if you want to have any hope of even sampling a fraction of what is on offer here.

Oh and do remember to save room for the two-meter long cheeseboard playing host to over 30 artisanal cheeses.

Hungry yet? We certainly are!

The Champagne buffet brunch at Edge costs $158++ per person with unlimited Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, beers and cocktails.

Parents take note that the brunch is very kid-friendly at $98++ (ages 12 to 17) inclusive of unlimited soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea, or $49++ (ages 7 to 11) inclusive of unlimited soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea.
