PARK Eun Sook exhibition rocks this month’s MAAD

It never ceases to amaze me how the monthly Market of Artists and Designers (MAAD) at Red Dot Design Museum manages to keep things fresh, and this month is as good an example as any.

While as usual we’ll get to revel in awesome creations from our local design and artistic community, MAAD will also be hitting us up with an art show by PARK Eun Sook. PARK has spent 20 years devoting herself and her creations to the theme of ‘Origin’ in a painterly way. Expect a whole lot of love and praise for familiar objects as she binds the gaps in our fractal existence through the lines and lights of the world.

We love her simple yet sophisticated stacking technique, which gradually adds up to the pictures you see, reflecting ordinary, every day life as she views it…

and we’re pretty sure that her oil paintings and abstract works will leave you feeling uplifted yet reflective.

Catch PARK Eun Sook’s exhibition at MAAD Pyjamas on, Friday 12 October, 5pm – midnight at red dot design museum, 28 Maxwell Road 069120 (alight at Tanjong Pagar MRT), free admission, for more information and updates see here.
