Awesome beach parties aside, one thing the folks at Tanjong Beach Club (TBC) are known for is their love of canine companions. We know this because they made it to our list of best dog-friendly spots in Singapore, and this Saturday, they’re taking things up a notch by having their first adoption and awareness drive ever.
Held in partnership with Animals Lovers League (ALL), this non-profit, volunteer-run animal shelter has a strict (and admirable) no-kill policy, resulting in the shelter having more than 700 dogs and cats under their care. Thus, Paws on the Beach aims to find potential pet owners and raise funds to support ALL’s steep monthly operational costs of $57, 000.
Supported by 98.7FM and Pet Lovers Centre, the latter will be handing out goodie bags to the first 100 attendees, but we think there’s really no better incentive for you to head down than the fact that volunteers from ALL will be on-site with some of their adorable dogs (yes, those three above, JJ, Lear, and Scooby will be part of the doggie contingent).
So head down to Tanjong Beach Club this Saturday, you might just find your perfect fur kid!
Paws on the Beach is happening 27 September 2014, 10am-4pm, at Tanjong Beach Club, 120 Tanjong Beach Walk, Sentosa, Singapore 098942.
