Maestro Ida Bagus Blangsinga performed at the state palace during President Soekarno era and has been passionately dancing for more than 70 years across the nation and internationally. He has been opening his doors to anyone interested in learning the traditional Balinese dance for decades in his humble home. Currently, he is raising fund to develop Tetamian, a private dance studio in Blangsinga in Blahbatuh, Bali. This evocative studio will not only be a place for him to practice, but it will also be free for both public and international guests who have a desire to learn and study dance and explore Balinese culture.
