Raffles Grill, the restored colonial style dining room at Raffles Singapore, presents an exquisite wine dinner featuring renowned wines from the prestigious Chateau d’Issan winery, on 17th November,7.30pm. Raffles Singapore Wine Director Stephanie Rigourd and Emmanuel Cruse, the owner and managing director of Chateau d’Issan, will introduce some of the winery’s best wines to be enjoyed alongside the 4-course meal.
Created by Executive Sous Chef Mickael Le Calvez, guests may look forward to enjoying Stewed Maine Lobster with either the 2006 or 2000 Margaux Chateau d’Issan. The meaty lobster is served atop creamy porcini polenta and drizzled with rich Grand Veneur sauce. Another highlight is the Roasted Venison Loin with a classic Povrade sauce, which is paired with the 1981 Margaux Chateau d’Issan Magnum. The robust and elegant wine perfectly complements the dark and tender meat of the venison loin and peppery Poivrade sauce.
