On 23 and 24 October 2015, rum aficionados will get to sample some of the finest rums from the Caribbean at Rum Jam 2015, Singapore’s first ever rum festival. And, where better for this inaugural experiential event to take place than Lime House, the city’s only Caribbean hotspot for good vibes and home to the Caribbean spirit of ‘liming’, (or ‘hanging out with friends’).
Expect two exciting, jam-packed days of rum discovery, with tastings, cultural talks, masterclases, rum pairing dinners and the ultimate Rum Shop closing party.
A Celebration of Rum
Rum Jam 2015 is where the passion for rum is full on and where not only do the public learn to appreciate its distinctive flavours and character through tastings and dinners, but also discover its origins, rich history and the process of distillation that makes it one of the world’s most popular spirits.
The two days will feature up to 50 different rum tastings, eight masterclasses, two rum pairing dinners and various talks by special guests. Headlining the stellar cast of rum experts is world renowned Global Rum Ambassador Ian Burell.
Rum Jam 2015 is happening at Lime House on Friday, 23 October 2015, 6pm to 7pm and Saturday, 24 October 2015, 7pm to midnight. Admission is free, with drinks starting at $10.
