Singapore Design Week

The Singapore Design Week makes its debut at the new National Design Centre and various venues from 10 to 16 March 2014. Organised by the DesignSingapore Council and supported by the design associations and partners, the Singapore Design Week features a collection of local and international design activities that will inspire and excite the design community, businesses, design students and the general public.

‘We are delighted to be presenting the Singapore Design Week to our local and international audiences at the new National Design Centre and other co-locating venues. There is something for everyone to participate in – from exhibitions, workshops and talks to trails and films. Through this collective platform, the DesignSingapore Council hopes to raise awareness of good design, deepen the appreciation and understanding of design innovation, and encourage the use of design for innovation and productivity,’ said Mr Jeffery Ho, Executive Director, DesignSingapore Council.

Highlights include anchor event SingaPlural, the first-ever MAISON&OBJET ASIA and the inaugural Singapore Good Design Mark (SG-Mark) Exhibition.

Interact with design talents from Singapore and the rest of the world as they share their innovative works and ideas at design trade shows, conferences, exhibitions, workshops, trails and films throughout the week.
