Speakeasy #19: Deborah Emmanuel

Deborah Emmanuel is a Singaporean actor, writer and musician. Her theatre and television work has been with companies such as Singapore Repertory Theatre, Buds Theatre Company, Disney and OKTO. She has trained in acting and applied theatre with Singapore Repertory Theatre’s Young Co, Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts, Singapore Polytechnic and Griffith University.

Her poetry has been heard at TEDx Singapore, The Singapore Writers Festival, the Cooler Lumpur Festival in Kuala Lumpur and the Queensland Poetry Festival in Brisbane. Her first collection When I Giggle In My Sleep was published by Red Wheelbarrow Books in early 2015.
