The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore unveils its master plan for the highly anticipated 13th edition of SuperBrunch – the hotel’s signature bi-annual vintage Champagne brunch extravaganza. Themed **Under Construction** (alluding to the impending transformation of Greenhouse and Summer Pavilion restaurants that will commence on the following Monday till late August 2015), this ground-breaking culinary fiesta will see the hotel lobby transformed into a bustling construction zone on Sunday, 29 March 2015, 12pm to 3pm. So before the scaffolding go up and demolition works begin, join the folks at Ritz Carlton for the final soiree ingeniously engineered by Executive Chef Massimo Pasquarelli and his team of ‘food architects’.
Start on the immersive epicurean site inspection and look out for visually arresting gastronomic constructs such as a 15-metre long ‘live’ seafood on ice station, 14 varieties of satay and meat skewers grilled to perfection on an I-beam, a wagyu beef leg and other assorted roast meats hoisted up on pulleys, an enticing array of sea urchin displayed on oil drums, and a French caviar ‘dispenser’.
Other culinary highlights include a ‘live’ Jamón Ibérico de bellota carving station, foie gras au torchon, 11 varieties of smoked and cured salmon, giant pans of Alaskan king crab, 120 international cheeses selected by European cheese masters, bird’s nest and abalone, and charcoal roasted suckling pig.
Nicole Chen, one of Asia’s most successful female DJs will be spinning ‘live’ beats while you indulge in unlimited flutes of vintage Champagne from the house of Louis Roederer. Complete this culinary journey by striking a pose in front of the three dimensional construction-themed anamorphic art installation to keep as a photo memento.
