The Grind Presents DJ Cash Money

Scratch techniques, lightning speed with fierce musicality skills on the turntables are just a few talents that DJ Cash Money has to offer. Starting off his career as a dancer in Philadelphia whilst building his skills on turntables by creating mix tapes for the group’s choreography, Cash Money quickly stood out in the DJ scene.

Throughout the years, DJ Cash Money continued excel through shows alongside big names like Jazzy Jeff, Cash Money emerged from the Hip Hop scene in the late 1980’s. Cash Money won the New Music Seminar Supermen DJ Battle in 1987 and the DMC World DJ Championships in 1988. Around the same time, turntable manufacturer Technics made Cash Money the first inductee into the DJ Hall of Fame

The event will take place on Thursday 28 May from 10pm onwards at Mirror.

Admission (Including a drink) costs 150.000RP. Admission for ladies is free.

Dress code applies (No singlets, shorts & sandals; those in improper attire will be denied entry)
