…The Silent Lines of Its Lips

…The Silent Lines of Its Lips is an international collaboration involving producer and choreographer Susan Yeung (Singapore/ HK), actor and director Harris Jahim (Singapore), film artist Russell Morton (Singapore), musician and composer Claudio Di Meo (Italy), with an original text developed by dramaturge Caleb Lee (Singapore).

The performance, with dance film They Talk as a research start point, is based on the ideas of ‘de-generation’, ‘regeneration’, and how each of us experience aging. This performance promises to bring audience on an experiential journey confronted with emotions, reflections, and allow moments of contemplations between the silences of conversations.

Susan Yeung and Russell Morton originally conceived the dance film They Talk. It was premiered in the Sri Lanka International Performing Arts Festival in December 2013 and was shown at an international art event that took place in both Almeria (Spain) and Bari (Italy) in February 2014. The film is also being selected for an international exhibition Morphos in Venice (Italy), with Susan Yeung as one of the featured artists for the festival.
