Feast this midweek as Esquina head chef Carlos Montobbio teams up with visiting chef Àlvar Ayuso of Alvart in Barcelona, Spain in an exciting four hands dinner. The 11-course menu includes highlights from both restaurants, such as Sea Urchin, Codium Seaweed and Baby Radish from Alvart and Smoked Mackerel, “Escalivada” and Corn Tuile from Esquina. Enjoy the meal for $128++ per person, or pair with a specially selected wine menu for $188++ per person.

Crackerjack‘s Grab and Go Breakfast

Pressed for time? Swing by Crackerjack for their new Grab and Go Breakfast before work. Available on weekdays only, pick from these three options – the Housemade Bagel ($4) with cream cheese ($1) or housemade kimchi cream cheese ($1.50), Bircher Muesli ($9; organic dutch milk, oats, quinoa, chia seeds, dried fruit, coconut flakes and strawberries), and Kale & Chicken Chimichurri Wrap ($9; shredded chicken, kale, onions, garlic, lemon juice, purple cabbage and housemade flour tortilla). Don’t forget your daily cuppa – a cup of CJ Bona Fide Blend Batch Brew coffee comes at $2.

New Weekend Brunch Menu at Club Street Social

You can never get enough of weekend brunch in Singapore – and restaurant-bar Club Street Social has just refreshed the menu for theirs. From 11am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays, breakfast favourites such as Smashed Avocado Toast ($18) are available together with hearty lunch mains like a full Sunday roast ($28) – trimmings included. Wash them all down with wine at $11 per glass or fresh brunch cocktails.

SPRMRKT Kitchen and Bar Heritage Menu

‘Hokkien Mee’

National Day may be over, but the locally-inspired offerings with a traditional touch are still available at homegrown restaurant-cum-grocer SPRMRKT. Partnering up with artisanal coffee roaster Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee, SPRMKT Kitchen and Bar’s Heritage menu features local food with a twist, such as a pasta-based ‘Hokkien Mee‘ ($32++, handmade tagliatelle, pork belly, squid, sakura ebi, pork crackling, chives and fried shallots) and Roti & Kopi (18++), a take on kaya toast (gula-melaka-‘palm sugar’-filled brioche with housemade kaya and pandan ice cream, served with Tiong Hoe’s Ethiopia heirloom blend).

Ladies, craving oysters to go with some choice drinks? Get your oyster fix on the house at The Other Room – every purchase of champagne by the glass or bubbly cocktail comes with a complimentary oyster everyday from 6pm to 9pm, except on Thursdays where hours are extended to 3am. And if one isn’t enough to satisfy you, ring up more drinks to the tab – or get a platter of oysters when you order a bottle of champagne.
