It’s burgers galore this week as cult American chain FIVE GUYS opens its doors along the Orchard shopping belt, with local burger food truck Goodburger’s dishing out Impossible fare nearby at Marina Bay. Not forgetting the festive season, Junior’s bar transforms into a Christmas wonderland complete with fun holiday concoctions!

FIVE GUYS Brings Its Cult Status Burgers To Singapore

One of the most beloved burger chains in the US is finally here in Singapore shores, and it’s been generating a lot of buzz since its rumoured opening. Situated at Plaza Singapura, the outlet is the first franchise in Asia, and the burger chain aims to redefine the global burger landscape by focusing on freshness and quality. Hand-formed with no preservatives, the burger patties are sandwiched between freshly baked buns for a wonderful burger experience. Coupled with a selection of 15 free burger toppings, the combinations are endless.

Boozy Holiday Flavours Arrive At Junior’s Petite Chalet

Usher in the yuletide festivities as Junior transforms its latest ski lodge-themed concept, Petite Chalet, into a Christmas wonderland complete with lights and knick knacks. The seasonal menu features five new holiday-inspired concoctions, such as the Red Ryder (S$25++), a refreshing and tart cocktail featuring cranberry juice, Widges gin, and gentian alpine liqueur; Uncle Joe’s Eggnog (S$25++) – crafted with Michter’s Rye whiskey, cognac, becherovka, sherry, eggs, and cream; and the Gift of The Magi (S$25++) – a Pol Roger champagne cocktail with pear and white cacao.

Cemani Chicken Skin Unveils Fifth And Newest Flavour

The Goodburger Food Truck

Singapore’s newest food truck, Goodburger, has been making waves since their launch in June 2019, with snaking queues at Sentosa Grillfest and appearances at high-profile events such as the Heineken F1 Party. Now, they’ve found a regular spot along Marina Bay to dish out affordable, hearty, and delicious plant-based Impossible burgers to the masses, starting at S$16 with fries. Goodburger hopes to drive change for a more conscious and sustainable world, one burger at a time.

Fat Cow’s Wagyu Omakase Menu

Multi-award-winning modern Japanese restaurant Fat Cow jumps on board the festive wagon with its Fuyu Matsuri Wagyu Omakase Dinner (S$250++), featuring the stunningly-marbled Kumamoto Wagyu. The 11-course menu offers a tantalising selection of dishes, such as the Fuyu Zensai Hassan Mori, an appetiser with Torafugu fin sake, wagyu tataki, and steamed abalone, as well as the Shiro Saba Fugu Karaage, a fried golden pufferfish. Diners also have to option of adding on a the Curated Sake Package (S$95++), pairing sakes like the Kaze no Mori ‘Alpha-Type 1’ Junmai with their dishes.
