ATLAS Presents: A Stroll Through Alsace with New Executive Lunch Set

 Inspired by the cuisine of Alsace, a region up in north-eastern France, Executive Chef Daniele Sperindio brings you eight new dishes found in ATLAS’s new executive lunch menu. These offerings fuses French and German flavours as Alsace’s inhabitants alternated from the French and the German for centuries. From now till October, choose between two ($38++) or three courses of meals ($48++) including bites such as Crayfish Soup with Cognac and Crème Fraîche and Späetzle Egg Noodles tossed in Buttermilk and Spinach. Available from Monday to Friday, wine pairings are available for adding another layer of flavours to your meal.

British Sunday Brunch at Ash and Elm

Last year was a busy one for the United Kingdom but this year is much bigger, with England finishing in the final four at the FIFA World Cup, another royal wedding, and news of a royal baby! In celebration of these milestones, Ash and Elm’s new Sunday brunch menu ($138 per adult) showcases the best British specialities including crispy Fish & Chips, Irish Lamb Chop paired with green peas and mint jelly sauce, and Pan-seared Scallops with savoy cabbage and bacon. Available from 12pm – 3pm, Sunday Brunch orders include a free flow of Taittinger Brut Champagne, Pimm’s Cup cocktail, house wines, and soft drinks.

The Loco Group Unveils Four Mexican-inspired Craft Beers

 The Loco Group, in collaboration with Trouble Brewing, have come up with a series of four distinct beers inspired by the founders’ travels to Mexico. A refreshing summer ale with a citrus tang, the Tulum Verano ($13) is great for our tropical climate, as is the American-style pale ale Nuevo Gringo ($13). With notes of prickly pear and earthy hop aromas, the Pesado ($13) pairs well with spicy dishes while the Mayan Dark with coffee and chocolate notes will cater to folks who want a darker brew.

Loco Group’s Mexican craft beers are available at Super Loco Robertson Quay, Super Loco Customs House, and Lucha Loco.

 

The Nomad Series: Revealing Chapter Three

Singapore’s most stylish Middle-Eastern restaurant is back with their well-received Nomad Series, which celebrates esteemed chefs who made it big in their culinary careers. Back for a second collaboration with the Ottomani team, Ben Spalding will be steering the kitchen on 5th and 6th September 2018. Priced at $120++ per person, Ben’s mystery menu will keep everyone on their toes on what promises to be a palate-tickling night out.. From dishes such as the Singapore Grown, the Kebab, and the Question Box, you’ll never find out what you’re in for unless you give this mystery menu a go. Restaurant Ibid Launches Contemporary Chinese Lunch Menu

Newcomer Restaurant Ibid follows up on its set dinner offerings  with a new lunch menu that plays on familiar Chinese ingredients and refashions dishes in the name of contemporary Chinese cuisine. Handpicked from their dinner menu, the Shao Bing is reinvented into a juicy Shao Bing Burger ($14++) comprising of a meaty beef patty with pickled green chilli and a blanket of stringy mozzarella cheese. Other Nanyang-style choices include the hearty Pork Rib Rice ($14++) and the flavourful Thunder Tea Rice Porridge ($14++). Available from Wednesday to Friday, set meals are priced at $18++ for a 2-course meal and $25++ for a 3-course meal.
