Equilibrium x Marimekko for Finland’s 100th Anniversary

In celebration of Finland’s independence centenary, modern Italian restaurant Equilibrium and Finnish design house Marimekko will team up in a collaboration that goes beyond just food. Equilibrium has created a sumptuous lunch and dinner menu inspired by Finnish cuisine, with dishes like Kurkkusalaati getting a contemporary twist into Cold Poached Flaked Salmon with Cucumber, as well as a new spin on Välikyljys (entrecôte steak with sautéed onions, pickled mushrooms). Meanwhile, the interior of the restaurant gets a refreshed look with Marimekko’s Home Fall/Winter 2017 collection, and plus, receive a special Marimekko gift when you come down for a meal.

Wine Brand 19 Crimes Arrives in Singapore

Wine connoisseurs will now have a new selection to savour – Australian wine brand 19 Crimes has made its debut in Singapore after forays in the US. Embodying the 19 crimes that would have once earned one a ticket to then-harsh British colony Australia, satisfy the rebel in you with these three variants, priced at $24.90, – the bold 2015 Red Blend with strong hints of chocolate and cedar, the rich 2016 Shiraz that focuses on raspberries and red berry fruit, and the smooth 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon featuring a sweet vanilla oak.

19 Crimes is now available at Cold Storage, Giant, Fairprice, Sheng Siong, Prime, Choices Convenience Store (SPC) and RedMart.

La Ventana x El Serbal Four Hands Dinner

A gastronomic adventure awaits as Chef Roberto Terradillos of Michelin-starred El Serbal in Spain joins hands with head chef Toni Valero of La Ventana for a one-night-only four hands dinner. The six-course Spanish meal pairs with a curated list of Spanish wines, and includes dishes such as Lamb Loin in peppery goat’s milk, rosemary mayonnaise, and kale paired with Sierra Cantabria (tempranillo), and Bonito Tuna with chickpeas Parmentier and basil juice, paired with Alda Blanc (Xarel·lo).

For the 11th year running, the iBrew Challenge returns for the homebrew community and beer lovers to partake in the best of homemade brews. Showcasing more than 30 drinks by experienced homebrewers and featuring competitions to find the top kegs and bottles, come down on 9 September 2017 for free-flow home and craft beers, accompanying bites, and music from DJs in one afternoon.
