From new menus at Jamie’s Italian and Bread Street Kitchen to an event that promotes vegetarian dishes, this week’s edition of The Weekly Grub gives you the lowdown on the 5 hottest things to eat and drink in Singapore’s food & beverage scene.
Jamie’s Italian Launches New A La Carte Menu
Despite the throng of celebrity chef dining options available in Singapore, Jamie’s Italian has impressively managed to hold its own as a popular destination for quality Italian food. Diners who want a taste of The Naked Chef’s specialities will be pleased to hear that both the Vivocity and The Forum outlets have just unveiled an all-new a la carte menu that explores fresh ingredients with delicate flavours like those found in the Superfood Salad – think lentils, quinoa, pomegranate, candied beets and black rice topped with char-grilled avocado.

FIJI Water x CHOPE = Gourmet Greens Week
Organised by FIJI Water and Chope, the inaugural Gourmet Greens Week celebrates everything we love about vegetables in some of Singapore’s hottest restaurants. For instance, establishments such as Punjab Grill, Sugarhall, Original Sin, and Blue Bali have come up with all-vegetarian menus priced at $30++ for a four-course set lunch and $45++ per person for a four-course set dinner. Unfortunately, vegans won’t be able to take advantage of this festival as set meals do include dairy products and eggs.

New Weekend Brunch Menu at Bread Street Kitchen
Bread Street Kitchen may only be 5 months old, but it feels as if Gordon Ramsey’s maiden venture in Singapore is a long-established veteran in the food & beverage scene. To freshen things up, the two-level restaurant and bar at Marina Bay Sands’ The Shoppes will be introducing an all-new weekend brunch menu for customers who want to dine in leisure. Think favourite British classics such as the gargantuan English Breakfast, the hearty Eggs Benedict, as well as super fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes.
