The Weekly Grub: 5 Things to Eat & Drink this Week

From a superb new free-flow Sunday brunch menu at 5th Quarter to a collaboration between Bjorn Shen’s Bird Bird and Hombre Cantina, here’s our roundup of 5 things to eat and drink in Singapore this week.

Manhattan Bar’s New Harlem District

Barber Shop

If you didn’t already know, the menu at The Regent Singapore’s award-winning Manhattan Bar pays tribute to the various districts of New York City. Their newly launched district, Harlem (replacing SOHO), is a neighbourhood known for its soul food and African-American influence in culture and arts.

Diners can expect Southern-styled bar bites like Chicken & Waffle ($18) and Southern Cornbread ($10), while cocktails like the Barber Shop ($23) and the Globetrotter ($22) takes inspiration from the ubiquitous barber poles in Harlem and legendary exhibition basketball team The Harlem Globetrotters respectively.

Manhattan Bar is located at 1 Cuscaden Road, Singapore 249715, p. 6725 3377. Open Daily 5pm-1am.
