threadbare & squirrel’s annual SQUIRREL SALE 2014 Edition

It’s that time of the year again. Where all the pretty displays get stored away, great deals are laid out, the store gets packed to the rafters with goods, staff are prepped and increased, an additional changing room prepared, walkies talkies charged, light refreshments prepped and threadbare & squirrel rolls up its sleeves and holds its annual Squirrel Sale 2014 Edition.

The event has grown along with the store and the labels that call us home. From a weekend event in previous incarnations (this is the 3rd year we are running the event), this year’s sale will be a FOUR day event including the weekend (Thursday 16 Oct to Sunday 19 Oct 2014 from 1130am to 830pm).

With discounts of up to 80% off and some special deals and sale weekend prices, it’s going to be a great weekend to stock up on some choice pieces for your wardrobe.

The event stemmed from a discussion with a few local labels when they wanted to hold a warehouse/clearance sale of past collections and samples. Due to cost (few labels could hold an event of scale on their own), location (most warehouses are in hard to reach areas) and logistical considerations, they stepped in and offered their space for such an event to support all the local labels and indie distributors under one roof.

The store will change its layout for the sale to align with the influx of products and sale like nature of the event so do scamper on by for a peek for yourself. If you missed last year’s event, you’ll want to do yourself a favour and make it down this year!
