Tirta Empul Temple

At the Tirta Empul Temple, built in 960 AD, you can observe Hindu devotees bathing as part of ritual. This temply is a UNESCO world heritage site! Tirta empul means ‘holy water spring’ and source of its waters is the Sungai Pakerisan River. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu god, Vishnu. There are food stalls outside the temple in case you get hungry.
