Expect euphoria, cheers and whistles from you, the audience, thanks to this award-winning, internationally sold-out show helmed by internationally acclaimed opera conductor Christoph Hagel as Artistic Director and Vartan Bassil, founder of The Flying Steps B-Boy crew.

3. Soak up over 100 art galleries at Art Stage Singapore

Back for its 4th year, this show-stopping art event is a must for art lovers, representing an unparalleled opportunity to discover the best in Asian contemporary art. With a special focus on Southeast Asian art scenes (Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar), Art Stage Singapore presents the largest international showcases of Southeast Asian contemporary art to date and if you want to discover the leading lights of tomorrow – well this is where they’re at!

4. Enjoy a visual and aural feast at Lomography Blue Hour Sessions

The third in a six part series of monthly Blue Hour gigs and exhibitions featuring collaborations with a roster of local bands and graphic artists is here. This month’s underground-esque gig features HEIZENBERG x Brandon Tay of Syndicate and Dream State Vision x StudioKALEIDO. Check out their stripped back, acoustic sounds and immerse yourselves in crazy artwork conceived with Lomography camera and films.

5. Aliwal Urban Art Festival

Aliwal Arts Centre transforms into a platform for some of the diverse sights and sounds of Singapore and a night of rock, rap, reggae, bass, funk and live street art. Curated by the folks at Sideshow – the people behind our favourite Sunday session The Training Shed – expect mind-boggling hip hop flows from Masia One, instrumental post rock from I Am David Sparkle, funky grooves from nine piece band FungkiMunkees, dark and dirty bass lines from +65, a mash up of underground and soulful vibes from Darker Than Wax and more, split across two stages.
