Van Volxem Masterclass

Van Volxem is a rising star German Riesling producer from the Saar Valley. Their wines are highly sought-after in Germany and Europe. In recent vintages, they sell out faster than many of the very top rung German producers! Roman Niewodniczanski, the owner of Van Volxem, will be visiting Singapore for the first time for this Masterclass with you!

The young and passionate Roman will present his two excellent vintages 2011 and 2012:

Saar Riesling 2011 – Peak ‘G’ Top Rieslings 2013, The Local Nose Recommended Wine Award

Alte Reben Riesling 2011 – made from old vines of 40 to 65 years old.

Scharzhofberger Riesling 2011 – Germany’s most famous Grand Cru vineyard.

Altenberg Alte Reben Riesling 2011 – Peak ‘G’ Top Rieslings 2013. Its 2008 vintage won Peak ‘G’ Top 10 wines in 2012!

Saar Riesling 2012

Alte Reben Riesling 2012

Scharzhofberger Riesling 2012

His 2012s were voted some of the best 2012s at the annual Wiesbaden tasting (only for trade professionals around the world) in Germany last year.
