Victoria Theatre Hall

Rather than a purpose-built venue, the Victoria Theatre began life in 1862 as as a Town Hall with a theatre, but then became too small for either function. Today, the Victoria Theatre continues to exude its old-world charm despite its most recent renovations, proving to be one of Singapore’s most elegant arts hubs.

With its iconic clock tower being restored, and existing theatre and concert hall being transformed into intimate spaces, the Victoria Theatre has grown to be both a historical and cultural landmark, especially within the country’s constantly growing arts and theatre scenes. Additionally, the acoustics within the Victoria Theatre have been vastly improved – thus making it wonderful home of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. This means that only most euphonic of performance will fill its hallowed halls – a dream for any budding muscian or connoisseur of the arts!

The Victoria Theatre is open daily from 10am – 9pm.
